Utah Grizzlies vs. Colorado Eagles

On November 11 (yes I am behind) we took Christopher to his first hockey game. It was a lot of fun it went in to over time, it was 4-4 so then they had a shootout 3-0 Grizzlies won!!!!

Christopher really liked the game


After the second period Elliot went and got us popcorn and waters. As soon as he got back to his seat the lady sitting next to him said "let me hold your little boy while you relax and eat your popcorn." So, we did what any responsible parent would do...we let some random lady hold our sleeping son. (She thought it was pretty cool his name was Christopher because her name was Kris)

Yeah....maybe one day I will be better...maybe not

Well, just because my sister did (updated her blog), I will too!!!! I read blogs almost every day (it is something to do while nursing at 2 in the morning to keep me awake). Because I read them so often I think to myself “self, why don’t people update their blogs like every 2-3 days?” (I really don’t think self before I think…but it would be funny if I did.) If I want people to update their blog that often…why don’t I?

Well, I keep putting off updating my blog because I was asked to blog about Christopher’s birth. Nothing wrong with that…I just haven’t taken the time to sit down and write it, being a mom, wife and customer care supervisor really gets in the way of life. Don’t get me wrong I love being all three of those…I just don’t update my blog as much because of that. J So, I will get to his birth story when I get to it.

As for now…enjoy some pictures of us (mostly Christopher) while we were in the hospital.

For Halloween Christopher was a Jed, he even had a lightsaber (aka glow stick)

And last but not least, we blessed Christopher on Sunday.

I can't get enough of this boy, I love him SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!!

What will happen

It has only been like forever since I last blogged. I really don’t think many people read it, so I don’t worry about it. However, I like to read others blogs so for the few of you that do read it (THANKS) I will post J

Not much has happened in our life. Really, all I do most days is work then go home and sit on the couch until it is time to go to bed (about 8:30). I am super excited to get this baby out! One, because I can’t wait to hold him and kiss his face (even though Elliot thinks it “seems awkward” and that “kissing is for mom and dad”). Two, because I am SOOOO done being pregnant. I really have nothing to complain about, from what I have read (on blogs and such) this has been a really easy pregnancy and on top of that I have an AMAZING husband who takes care of me when I don’t feel well.

I feel like my life is full of count downs right now,

2 days till Haley and Gray get home

9 days till Alec is home

26 days until Aldo is due (and he WILL be here in <30 days)

See, just a bunch of count downs. I'm not sure what I am going to do once he gets here, my count downs will be over. Then what?
